To service the loan after closing through the time it pays off. Responsible for ensuring and maintaining adequate insurance is in force on mortgages we service including homeowners, flood and/or wind.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Servicing Support Functions:

• Assist with opening, date stamping, and reviewing mail that comes in daily.
• Assist with the review of declaration pages from insurance companies for completeness of investor requirements.
• Assist in updating servicing software with any new information that comes in the daily mail.
• Assist with paying insurance bills that are due. Call insurance companies to obtain bills we did not receive.
• Assist with the review of cancellation notices received and initiate proper letter flow to force place borrowers on insurance
• Assist in the insurance automation process
• Answer general servicing questions and insurance specific questions.
• Work with loan originators and processors to provide accurate insurance information for refinances.
• Follow-up with non-escrow accounts to ensure required insurance is still in force.
• Assist in the review of monthly escrow analysis run for any errors or omissions.
• Assist in performing escrow analysis for customers who want to be analyzed out of cycle.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma
• Access, input, retrieve and interpret information using applicable computer systems (including but not limited to: Microsoft office, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing and cashier management
• Understand and respond appropriately to basic inquiries.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.
• Ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy, efficiently follow written and verbal instructions, provide information and training, and maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of individuals, clients, staff, and outside contacts in person and by telephone.
